About Laci

My first priority as a counselor is to establish a genuine, safe, and empathic therapeutic relationship with you. I am honored to work with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and life stages, and I have specific experience supporting college students, male-identifying individuals, and those struggling with disordered eating across the lifespan. My areas of interest include addiction (substance and/or behavioral), disordered eating, body image concerns, and eating disorder recovery.

There are a variety of different approaches in counseling; I integrate humanistic, existential, and acceptance and commitment therapies. This creates space to focus on taking action toward healthy coping mechanisms, allowing you to live according to your values and remain grounded. My humanistic and existential perspectives considers your unique choices, decisions, and feelings in defining what is authentically meaningful in your life.

We will collaborate together in identifying counseling goals tailored to your life and recovery, exploring changes that can minimize emotional and behavioral distress. I strive to balance encouraging self-exploration, fostering mindful awareness, and building skills to help you progress at your own pace.

I understand the struggles that come with balancing school, life, work, change, recovery, and relationships. In my free time, I like to ride my bike, cook, read, and spend time with my friends. I'd love the opportunity to walk beside you on your healing journey.
