About Kenny
As a person-centered humanist with an intersectional trauma-focused lens, I view each client as a unique individual. I believe that no matter what their presenting concerns are, their life experience is distinctly their own and they are the experts in their own lives. My focus as a therapist is to provide a safe and warm space where individuals and families can explore the complex challenges they have experienced. I firmly believe that we can discover the answers to the concerns and problems that trouble us. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to understand better and resolve the challenges being faced now.
I identify mostly with the Person-Centered theory; however, I use many different therapeutic approaches to meet my clients' needs. These include Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and the Gottman Method for marriage therapy.
With a passion for people and a belief in the transformative power of psychotherapy, I am committed to helping clients reach their goals and create a better future for themselves and their families. I approach helping people with compassion, curiosity, and warmth, and I firmly believe that everyone is worthy of love and help.
I am a husband and father, and I have overcome trauma and hardship that have made me who I am today. I see people through a lens of love and want to help each client.
