About Austin
It’s not easy to ask for help, and I honor your courage to take that first step. My goal is to create a warm, supportive counseling environment where you feel safe to explore, heal, and grow into your most authentic and joyful self.
I am interested in working with individuals of all ages and couples navigating anxiety, depression, addiction (substance and/or behavioral), life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also value working with clients from diverse cultural, racial, and identity backgrounds, and aim to provide inclusive, affirming care.
My approach is rooted in existential-humanistic principles and blends techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we’ll explore your values, build insight, and establish healthier patterns so you can live a life aligned with your true self. I believe you are the expert on your own experience, and therapy should reflect that; personalized, collaborative, and empowering.
In my free time, I love to spend time engaging in outdoor activities, creating art, reading, and spending time with the people I love. “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” If you’re ready to begin that journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
